Registration is now open for the 2019 EMBAC Conference, set for Oct. 13-16 in Orlando, Florida.
EMBAC welcomes both members and non-members who are interested in the EMBA industry or interested in joining EMBAC to its annual conference.
Both members and non-members will use the EMBAC member portal for registration. You may register and pay by credit card form a secure site and pay by check or purchase order.
Don’t forget to make your hotel reservations at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Orlando Hotel, which serves as the conference site.
Plan to reserve your hotel room early. The EMBAC hotel room rate is available only until the block of rooms fills, or until Sept. 19, 2019, whichever comes first.
To reserve your room at the EMBAC hotel room rate of $239 for a single or double room per night plus applicable tax and a $5 per night hotel service fee, book through the EMBAC designated reservation form. You also may call 800-233-1234 to make reservations, but you must mention that you are attending the EMBAC Conference to receive the EMBAC hotel room rate. The room rate includes internet in your sleeping room.
If you experience difficulties making your sleeping room reservation, please contact Linda Thompson at email@example.com
Special Note: The hotel reservation web pages and your confirmation email will list a resort fee charge of $39.38 per room per night. EMBAC members will only pay $5 per room per night (as mentioned above) instead of the full resort fee charge. This $5 charge may be referred to as a hotel service fee on Hyatt forms and billing. Hyatt is currently unable to change their online system to delete the mention of the $39.98 charge from the confirmation email, but there will be a note under the Rate Information section of your reservation confirmation that verifies the discount.
Hotel Cancellation Policy: Cancellation less than 72 hours before arrival will have a one-night charge as cancellation penalty.
EMBAC offers an economic incentive for early registration: Members who register online and pay before the early registration deadline of 9 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST), Saturday, Aug. 17, can save $300 off the conference registration fee.
- If you are an academic member, register before Aug. 17 and pay $995 in conference fees. Conference fees after the early registration deadline increase to $1,295.
- Academic non-members pay $1,995 in conference fees, regardless of when they register.
- Note: Conference fees include access to all plenary and concurrent sessions; a welcome reception; breakfasts on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday; and lunch on Monday and Tuesday. There is an extra $50 fee for paying by wire, and there are additional fees for preconference offerings.
Those who register and pay before the early registration deadline also qualify for a drawing to receive a free two-night stay at the 2020 conference venue hotel, which will be announced during the 2019 conference in Orlando.
